Buildings and homesteads
On almost 30 hectares, we exhibit more than 80 objects of large and small wooden architecture.
They include cottages, livestock buildings (stables, cowsheds, pigsties, hen houses), barns, granaries, a manege, a fence, rural industry buildings such as a watermill, windmills, forges, an oil mill and a pottery, and finally public utility buildings – a school, an inn and a fire station, as well as the magnificent Church of St Mark the Evangelist. The oldest buildings include, among others: a manor house from Brzeziny from 1753, a manor granary from Bidziny from 1784, a cottage from Markowa from 1804 and a church from Rzochów erected in 1843.
Entrance sector
This is the place where, among other things, the manor house from Sędziszów Młp. is located. It is a monument, but one that has been given a second life - you can buy entrance tickets, souvenirs and coffee, tasty dishes and desserts in the "Cafe Prowincja" there. You can also relax under the vines surrounding the recreational shelter. Stay with us for longer!
Sector of Lasowiak people
It is a vast space where we present the culture of the Lasowiak people, who inhabited the areas in the forks of the Vistula and San, near Mielec, Tarnobrzeg, Kolbuszowa, Nisko and Leżajsk. They came from everywhere, mainly from Mazovia, and settled in the wild and impassable Sandomierska Forest from the 14th century.

Sector of Rzeszowiak people
The Rzeszowiaks lived in the area delimited by the line Ropczyce – Rzeszów – Łańcut – Przeworsk, on fertile land at the crossroads of important trade routes. In addition to agriculture, they were involved in weaving, and the blacksmiths of the Rzeszow area were also famous for their products. Wrought iron crosses of exceptional beauty can still be admired in roadside shrines.
